Your privacy on EarlyCove.

This notice describes the current EarlyCove preview. Before a public release, the operator will add its legal identity, privacy contact, and any region-specific disclosures.

What is stored

Creating an account stores your name, email address, password hash, and account creation date. Sessions are stored using a hashed token, with an HTTP-only session cookie in your browser. Passwords are not stored in plain text.

Submitting a product stores its listing information and review history. Votes, saved products, comments, launch notifications, and digest waitlist emails are also stored. Short-lived rate-limit records help control abuse.

What is public

Approved public product profiles, maker names, comments, and vote totals can be visible to visitors. Account emails, password hashes, sessions, private saved collections, and pending submissions are not public. Moderators can access submission details for review.

How information is used

Information is used to operate accounts, review products, schedule launches, display community activity, and show account notifications. Joining the digest waitlist records your interest in future digest emails. Email delivery is not active in this preview.

Cookies and third parties

Reviews, approved discussions and approved replies show your display name publicly. Product follows and private collections are visible only to your account. A shared collection is accessible to anyone who has its link. Claim requests, issue reports, verification details and moderator notes are private to the requester and site moderators.

Product following creates in-app notifications when a relevant discussion or update is approved or a followed product launches. Following a product does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

The current implementation uses a necessary session cookie for sign-in. It does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Following an external product link takes you to another website with its own privacy practices.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time and edit submissions while they are awaiting review or changes. Account deletion and waitlist removal currently require the site operator to handle the request. Public launch is pending publication of the operator’s contact details and a request process.
